Bonds reduced for Detroit couple accused of torturing 'missing' 12-year-old Detroit boy

Law enforcers found 12-year-old Charlie Bothuell V of Detroit on June 25, hiding behind a pile of boxes in the basement of his dad's condo, 11 days after his father, Charlie Bothuell IV, 46, and stepmother, Monique Dillard-Bothuwell, 37, reported the boy missing. Revelations since the boy's discovery, including that Charlie was beaten with a pipe and forced to follow a military-style exercise regimen, led Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy's office to charge charge the couple with torture and child abuse.
